Our to-do list.

Dear Kids, Sooo... it looks like we have a lot to do! I spoke with our social worker today who will do our homestudy!  We are shooting for the first week in June. I'm still anxiously awaiting the phone call from our agency coordinator because the director has been in Uganda scoping out the situation. Has she met you?  Are you out there somewhere?  It's so crazy to imagine...I'm not letting myself go there, yet.  But still, anxiously waiting for that phone call :)This process has already been different than expected and I think it's a lot different than many other international adoption stories I've heard.  Most people will get all these things completed and then get placed on a "Waitlist" until they get their referral.  Because we are doing a "pilot program", there is no waitlist.  So....all that to say, I NEED to get working on this list!!  This could happen faster than we imagined. To add to this list is finding grants and possibly loans to help us bring you home!  Spent a couple of hours researching today! p.s. what if everyone had to do this before they had children??  Just a thought....
